FORENSIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES
We provide forensic neuropsychological evaluations of current functioning in various domains of cognition, behavior, and emotion. These assessment results are considered alongside information gathered from prior medical, psychological, and educational records to provide an overview of the course of a condition over time and life events.
FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATION
We provide consultation for lawyers for both plaintiffs and defendants and also have worked with prosecutors. Consultation may include reviewing case records and providing feedback regarding the types of records to pursue on a case-by-case basis. We are able to review records and provide a summary of key findings as well as suggestions for further evaluation or inquiry.
TRAINING FOR LEGAL PROFESSIONALS
Dr. Lakes has been an invited speaker for educational programs for family court judges and is able to provide training in areas related to child development, mental health, and the impact of stressful or traumatic life events on child and adolescent functioning.
